Night Vision

Night vision monoculars allow the user to see in total darkness via reflected - but invisible to the naked eye - infra-red light. There are two main types of device. The first of which is the more expensive variety which uses an optical light amplifier for direct viewing. The second, more affordable type functions very similarly to a digital camera, using a CCD sensor but without the infra-red-cut filter usually found on these sensors. They use an LCD electronic finder for viewing. Some of these second type of devices are also capable of recording still images and video. We stock a range of night vision devices from leading manufacturers including Minox and Bushnell.
