KITE OPTICS APC Stabilised 30 II Binoculars

Experience exceptionally steady, detailed views of wildlife with the KITE OPTICS APC Stabilised 30 II binoculars. Combining advanced image stabilisation with premium Japanese optics, these compact binoculars make it easier to observe birds and wildlife without the distraction of hand shake.

The latest generation of the APC 30 introduces an updated design, improved handling and KITE OPTICS' new KT 2.0 processor, working alongside the KDGS-1 stabilisation system. Whether you are following birds in flight, identifying distant species across open landscapes or watching wildlife from a hide, the APC 30 II delivers a remarkably stable viewing experience in a lightweight, easy-to-carry instrument.

Available in 10x30 and 14x30 magnifications, the APC 30 II combines portability with impressive optical performance, making it an excellent choice for birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts who value the convenience of handheld observation.

Advanced image stabilisation for clearer, steadier views

Even the finest binoculars can become difficult to use when magnification makes hand movement more noticeable. KITE OPTICS addresses this with its advanced KDGS-1 stabilisation system, powered by the KT 2.0 processor.

The result is a noticeably steadier image, helping you pick out fine details without needing to support the binoculars against a fixed surface. This is particularly useful when observing distant birds, identifying plumage details or following wildlife moving through the landscape.

With a stabilisation correction angle of up to 3°, the APC 30 II helps reduce the effects of hand movement, making prolonged handheld observation more comfortable and enjoyable.

Exceptional brightness from compact 30mm optics

Despite their compact 30mm objective lenses, the APC 30 II binoculars deliver impressive optical performance. Premium optics and high light transmission help produce bright, vivid images with natural-looking colours and clearly defined detail.

The 10x30 model offers a peak light transmission of 93%, while the 14x30 version achieves 92%. This excellent performance helps make the most of available daylight, including during early morning and late afternoon wildlife observation.

The compact dimensions also make these binoculars easy to carry on walks, birdwatching trips and outdoor adventures where weight and portability matter.

Choose between 10x30 and 14x30 magnification

Both models benefit from the same stabilisation technology and compact 30mm objective lenses, but their different magnifications offer distinct advantages.

APC STABILIZED 10x30 II

The 10x30 is an excellent all-round choice for birdwatching and general wildlife observation. Its lower magnification provides a wider field of view, making it easier to locate birds, follow movement and scan larger areas. With a field of view of 94 metres at 1,000 metres, it offers a good balance between magnification, image stability and ease of use.

APC STABILIZED 14x30 II

The 14x30 provides greater magnification for observing distant subjects and examining finer details. Its 14x magnification can be particularly useful when watching birds across estuaries, lakes, wetlands and open countryside. The narrower field of view (80 metres at 1,000 metres) is offset by the stabilisation system, which helps keep the image steady despite the higher magnification.

Built for outdoor use in all weathers

Birdwatching and wildlife observation often mean spending time outdoors in unpredictable conditions. The APC 30 II is designed to handle them.

Its IPX7 waterproof construction protects the binoculars against water ingress, even if temporarily submerged. The instrument is also gas-filled, helping prevent internal fogging when moving between different temperatures and weather conditions.

With a functional temperature range of -22°C to +55°C, these binoculars are built to perform across a wide range of outdoor environments.

Up to 60 hours of battery autonomy

The image stabilisation system is powered by two AAA batteries (alkaline or lithium), providing up to 60 hours of operation.

The APC 30 II also features Active Power Control, a sleep timer and a low-battery indicator. These functions help manage battery consumption and provide a useful warning when power is running low.

Please note that the two AAA batteries are not included.

Designed in Belgium, precision-made in Japan

KITE OPTICS develops the APC 30 II in Belgium, drawing on five decades of experience in premium optical instruments. Manufacturing takes place in Japan, where precision engineering and optical expertise combine to produce a high-quality instrument designed for dependable performance.

The APC 30 II also comes with an impressive 30-year manufacturer's warranty covering the complete binocular, including its electronic components. KITE OPTICS further supports the instrument through its expert service workshop in Belgium.

Personalise your binoculars

For additional protection and a more individual look, KITE OPTICS offers silicone jackets for the APC 30 II. Available in sage green, dusty rose and petrol blue, they provide an opportunity to personalise the appearance of your binoculars while adding an extra layer of protection.

Silicone jackets are optional accessories.
